Experiencing Wine through Mythology

Andreou Winery came to us with the simple yet evocative brief; to convey the character of their wine through its ancient origins.

With that in mind, we studied Trizina and the Andreou wine terroir, which is the perfect venue for celebrations, meetings and special wine-filled moments, celebrated since ancient times .

We decided to capitalize on the area’s mythological past as a way of describing the brand ID, its story and of course, the taste of its wine. As such, the Athenian king and hero Theseus together with the Minotaur, the most terrifying creature in Greek mythology, become the main characters in the Andreou Wines story. The Greek Alphabet displayed on the labels summarizes each product’s name, story and aroma as a clue and a promise of the sensory pleasures that await the wine enthusiast.

Furthermore, the bottles, when placed next to each other on the shelves communicate the word “passions” emphasizing the wine’s genuine tale of gods and monsters, heroes and kings for a visual in store merchandising experience.
